Internet Resources for Theology Students: Welcome

Library Resources

The Charlotte Campus Library is more closely connected to Morton Library in Richmond than ever.  The Morton Library website (http://library.upsem.edu/) will be the greatest avenue for you to finding the resources that you need for your academic studies.  At the website, you will be able to look up books in Richmond and Charlotte, use premium databases for research, request books from Richmond, utilize tutorials that explain how to use library resources, discover helpful library guides, and find a link to important information found on the Charlotte Library Blog.  To use Morton Library resources you will need to use your Union e-mail address and password.  Of course, you do not need passwords to use the electronic catalog.  Below is a brief list of common resources associated with each library.

New Printing System

Charlotte library has two copiers/printers, one upstairs and one downstairs.  So far, because of conscientious students, we have been able to offer free copying.  I am grateful that we can offer this for free but there is a coin mechanism in place should we need impliment that.  Students can certainly make copies as necessary and/or they can either print off of a flashdrive or print off of the computer that linked to the copier/printer. Students can also scan material and email it from both copiers. Please see David Mayo if you are interested.

Welcome to UPSem Library Resource Guide

Welcome to the Resource Guide "Online Resources for Theology Students."  This is not meant to replace the important print and database resources found in the UPSem Library.  This guide of web resources should be viewed as a supplement to the library resources.  Nevertheless, there are good resources online that are helpful to academic and ministry work.  I have put these together by subject, rather than by website, so it will be easier to search.  Most of the Bible and Reference resources listed are academic gateways that, while they may vary in scope, rigour, and currency provide extensive information by experts in the field.  No doubt there are many web resources not listed that are worthwhile and I hope to add them as I am able.  Recommendations are welcome.
