Digital Reference Sources at UPSem

Introduction

The Union Presbyterian Seminary Library has a large collection of digital reference sources that reside on a number of vendor platforms.

Digital reference sources are accessible to all library users on campus and to active academic users off campus.

Although there are links provided for the reference eBooks in this guide it is not a comprehensive list and other useful reference eBooks are discoverable through a library catalog or database search.

Use the navigation menu to the left to explore the different types of reference materials available.

Information on logging in and the different eBook platforms is available below. For other questions regarding digital reference discovery and access, please contact Ryan Douthat (804) 278-4217 or email rdouthat@upsem.edu.

Login and eBook Platform Information

Off-campus access requires logging in using your library barcode number and PIN and for some digital reference platforms these credentials may be required on-campus as well.

If it is your first time accessing an eBook from off campus, you may find these eBook access instructions useful.

Since each eBook vendor platform is different, please visit the specific eBook platform guide or click on one of the icon links below to see more information regarding viewing, printing, copying and downloading instructions.

As with the eBook reference sources, each of the online reference database sources has a unique format and built in tools for viewing, printing and emailing material. Each of these resources can be accessed through the library's online databases page though articles from both Oxford Biblical and Islamic Studies Online can be discovered through a search in the library catalog's Database Results tab.

Since each online reference database is unique, please click on one of the icon links below for more information.
