This guide is a collection of reference sources at UPSem Libraries for studying biblical Hebrew and koine Greek. Most of these are in the Reference collection of the Richmond library; many are also available in the Charlotte library.

Academic Journals for Language Study and Research

The following journals regularly contain excellent scholarly articles on topics related to biblical Hebrew and Greek. They may be articles about biblical interpretation, archaeological discoveries that involve text, or research on extrabiblical texts that are in some way related to biblical Hebrew or Greek (such as Pseudepigraphic texts or the Dead Sea Scrolls). If the entry notes that the electronic holdings have an embargo, that means that the most recent issues of the journal are not available online for the noted length of time. If we have a print subscription, we can scan the article for you; otherwise, we can get it for you via InterLibrary Loan (submit your request here)
